Jason Wright

Jason Wright

My name is Jason Wright and I learned to weld in school at the age of twelve. After serving our country for eight years in the US Army Infantry I began my work in the Boilermaker trade. After my wife passed I felt it highly important to devote my life to my son, Jaxon so we returned to our home town of Laconia, Indiana.

Once at home my skill in welding began to take on a different light. One piece led to another and suddenly I found customers who wanted to take my artwork home with them.

In 2015 I started attending various art shows and began selling my pieces and because of my loyal clientel I have turned a hobby into a full time business. I would really enjoy meeting you at my next show. Please see the home page to find dates and listings or contact me via the web so we can discuss any design projects you may have.

"The Wrench Dancers and Ballerinas were inspired by Jack and Sally from the movie the Nightmare Before Christmas. I wanted to take the rough edge of the cold steel tools and turn them into something warm with smooth, flowing lines that left you saying, "Aww" when you saw it. Look for many different variations of the Wrench people in the near future."

""A Junkmeister twist added to the already popular horseshoe cowboy gives these guys more of a personality and an edge as Clint Eastwood's "Josey Wales" character liked to call it. The rusty, crusty finish shows the hardness of these individuals. The campfire was inspired by a scene in the Mel Brook's film Blazing Saddles."

"Each Junkmeister heart is unique and one of a kind. The Mechanical Hearts are something that everybody can relate to. The heart is basically a machine for the human emotion. These pieces show everything from the gears that drive us, the clock or ticker that controls our patience, the spring in our step, the wrench that gets thrown in, which occasionally breaks or fixes what is broken, and even a cold shut off handle."
